I want to change my Vista computer operating system to Windows XP.?

How do I proceed? 1. Purchase Windows XP 2. Insert disk 3. Load drivers???I want to change my Vista computer operating system to Windows XP.?
First off you will need a xp disk. If I was you I would just go ahead and run a dual boot at first, Cause most likely if you downgrade, you will probably be missing drivers. And it does matter what order you put them in, I cant remember how, but you either have to run vista set up first or xp setup first. I think its xp, but I cant remember. I was missing like 7 or 8 drivers on mine, When I installed xp, and my ethernet was one of them, so I used enternet on my vista setup. to find all my drivers. I ran a dual boot just cause alot of my software wasnt updated yet. Im just running vista now. And another thing is Im not sure how your computer is setup. But mine was like this and it took me 2 weeks of flustration trying to figure this out. When you go to setup xp. If a screen pops up and said something like you cant install xp or something like that. (not exactly sure what it said, but I had alot of problems.) You will have go into bios and change harddrive settings to ide, if its set on sata and you got sata drives. Well I would be more specific, but its been awhile since Ive done it. So its hard to give you instructions word by word. Well good luck with your change.I want to change my Vista computer operating system to Windows XP.?
Yes.

1) Make sure you have your drivers first.

2) Insert disk and reboot.

3) Press any key when prompted.

4) Delete and re-partition hard drive.

5) If asked, format using NTFS (not quick).

5) Eat a sandwich and wait.

6) Install drivers if needed.

7) ENJOY!
