1- Go to System Properties

2- Advance Tab%26gt;Click Settings in Startup and Recovery

3- Click Edit (a notepad with some lines in it will appear, try to be carefull and don't del anything else)

4- Clear the line with %26quot;Windows Vista%26quot; name in it (don't mess with the Line having the path of Windows Xp) it would be like:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WI?Vista%26quot;

After deleting the line save the file and then OK all the dialogue boxes and then restart the system...

Best of Luck and don't mess upHow do i clear the uninstalled OS name which is being listed system startup?
