How can to combine my dell laptop with my dell pc?

both use xp.

I WILL NOT CHANGE OPERATING SYSTEMS!!!

i will however buy hardware if i have to (eithernet cable, LAN cable, or what ever)

And please tell me it can be done with a cable and software. if not than WHY NOT? because apparently lots and lots of people have wanted to do this and i see lots of people get snubbed with a quick NO. but you would think with all the programmers somebody would like the %26quot;get rich quick%26quot; scheme of selling such a high demand product

i dont wanna learn linux or unix just to ad sum ram, storage space and a Lil processor power to my laptop being used as a decktop. my laptop never leaves the desk next to my pc. i only bought it from my buddy cuz it was a brand new laptop for $80

(probably stolen but who could pass up that deal)

i want to allow my laptop to use my PCs processor, hard disc space %26amp; ram essentially creating a combined pc capable or more than what either is individually capable of...

is this or anything like it possible?

%26amp; if not can someone please start working on it... you'll be rich if you copyright the programHow can to combine my dell laptop with my dell pc?
the answer to ur question is NO you cant combine two computors not in the sense your thinking of they each have their own processors for their respective units however the best you can hope for is to exchange files and share the programs you have on both known as networking between computors so get yourself a book or search on line for more info and you will either need a router and a cable to achieve this or memory stick to transfer the files then u will be at least be able to use the hard

drives of both comps.Good luck...as for %26quot;I will not change my operating system%26quot; don't be so hard arsed about it cos one of the computor rules is don't use closed systems. as in don't have a closed mind after all new systems are or should be to make things run smoother..you wouldn't want to drive a 1950s car on a freeway would you?
