That's just a tag line. They put a rubber stamp on the front of the machine %26quot;Designed for Windows Vista%26quot; or whatever but it's upgradeable to 7 as long as you meet the required specs.

You can go for Linux as long as they support 64-Bit OS.

Just can't go for a Mac without looking as OS X PC on YouTube.I want to change my Operating System but is stated that exclusive for windows vista..?
Who told you that? Of course you can upgrade the OS,what you can't do is downgrade simply because its stupid. There is no computer that can run an exclusive OSI want to change my Operating System but is stated that exclusive for windows vista..?
There are very few computers (and non built after 2000 and the Antitrust case against Microsoft) that can only run Windows. The sticker on your computer that states your computer was designed for Windows Vista (or is recommended for Windows Vista, or only works with Vista) is a marketing tool. There is a great saying in the Linux community, %26quot;The box said made for Windows, so I installed Linux!%26quot;I want to change my Operating System but is stated that exclusive for windows vista..?
I have 3 Dual boot computers with Vista and Windows 7. I suggest you keep Vista and %26quot;ADD%26quot; windows 7 to it. Here is how:

You are mistaken. There are no computers which are exclusively meant for Windows Vista. A computer can however be certified for a certain operating system such as Windows XP or Windows Vista, which means that the components used in the computer are supported by your operating system. This does not mean that the components of your computer will only work with this operating system. You can run the free Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor Beta from the Microsoft website to verify if the hardware of your computer would be compatible with Windows 7, but if your computer is certified for Windows Vista, there is no doubt that it will be able to run Windows 7.I want to change my Operating System but is stated that exclusive for windows vista..?
If it's there's a legal clause that says you can only use 1 specific OS, you should leave it that way.

If you have the freedom to choose and a licence for the new OS (From XP =%26gt; Win 7 for example), you can install it by inserting the install CD/DVD and rebooting the PC. The computer boots from the disc and gives you more instructions.

Most PC's I've seen were using Win XP and changed to Linux - there were no legal issues.I want to change my Operating System but is stated that exclusive for windows vista..?
windows vista will let you add another operating system to the memory, you just have to tell it where it is at, and when to use it to boot up.
