well goto the website of the maker of your computer. This should have been your first task prior to downgrading windows so you would know a head of time if there were XP supported drivers for your unit. I can't begin to tell you how many customers come to me because they had a buddy downgrade windows and now they're machine either has no video, no audio, or no networking.

Goto the site of your PC maker, look for SUPPORT/DRIVERS/DOWNLOADS

Enter in the model number of your computer, select XP if offered. If not, then it's time to upgrade Windows again. This time try Windows 7.I changed Operating Systems from Vista to Windows XP. Now my audio isn%26039;t working. Help!?
That happened 2 me also. Most likely your computer manufacture doesn't have the driver for xp since you are %26quot;downgrading.%26quot; What you can do is look find the name of the audio card and google search it with drivers for xp. Or you can try to go the the audio card's manufacture's website and find it there.I changed Operating Systems from Vista to Windows XP. Now my audio isn%26039;t working. Help!?

Now my audio isn%26039;t working. Help!?
Check to see if the drivers are installed properly, and then that it's enabled. If so, shut down, open the case, and re-seat it on the motherboard, close the case and restart the system. your problem of sound card will be fixed...

Good luck.
