How can i delete or change my operating system?

my os is windows xp sp2, but its not working properly, some of its dll's are missing i'm new to this so if anybody can give me some pointers i'll appreciate it very much.How can i delete or change my operating system?

If ur getting the error of DLL file missing , then note down the file name %26amp; copy the same files from XP cd.. %26amp; if u want to delete or change OS the u can format ur hard disk %26amp; reinstall ur OS.

Xp is not the stable OS. My suggestion to u will be to install Win2k prof with SP4 %26amp; all the patches.

Try a re-install - There should be a %26quot;repair%26quot; option when you run the setup.exe from the Windows XP disk. This will hopefully repair/replace any damaged or missing dlls.How can i delete or change my operating system?

If you have the XP cd you can repair it.

Procedure is



Insert CD

Restart system to boot from CD

When Option named %26quot;Repair%26quot; comes select it.
