How to remove operating system

I got 2 new dell desktops which used to be used for office use.

They are currently running windows 2000 nt professional but I cant bypass the old users passwords in order to change the operating systems. plzzzz helllp.How to remove operating system
If you want to just wipe the hard drive and start from scratch, you don't need any user passwords of any kind. Just boot from the install CD of whatever operating system you want to use (XP, Linux, anything), and follow the instructions.
